The wiki was chosen for the presentation because this multimedia tool offers various types of opportunities to use and incorporate different methods traditional content in the written format. There are students that prefer to hear the information instead of reading and the wiki offers an opportunity to present the same information in multiple formats. The capability to attach documents and links for the students makes this an optimal site to use. This also is an excellent resource that benefits all learners that I teach.

After viewing this UDL presentation it is my desire that you will view assessments in a different light. UDLs goal is to improve the success of and timeliness of assessments. As you become more proficient at creating UDL lesson plans students should have the barrier removed and a more accurate way of measuring student success should come forth. Educators will be able to assess by using multiple formats to include the use of technology. The goal is to meet the standard and the process by which we meet that goal can and will be achieved through the use of Universal Design for Learning.
